Your new Rat Terrier puppy has been raised with care. Each puppy is special to me and I want to see that each one
has a good home.

_______ A vaccination has been given to the puppy at 6 weeks of age. This is only an initial immunization and
the pup needs more doses. If this is an older pup or dog, it has had more shots. Documentation of these
shots is included with the pup's paperwork.

_______ Because of the immunity your pup receives from its mother, one shot does not give full immunity.
Your pup needs more shots before you can safely expose your pup to other dogs.

_______ In order to protect your pup from Parvo and other dog diseases, you must take extra care until the pup
has had all its shots. When visiting the Vet, keep your pup in your arms or in a crate. Do not let the
pup run around and do not let other people pet your pup.

_______Your pup needs to be started (or continued) on Heartworm prevention. Heartworm disease is a serious
problem and can lead to early death or expensive treatment.  Discus this with your Vet.

______ Your pup will need a Rabies Vaccination. usually after 12 weeks of age. Consult with your Vet.

______ Have the puppy checked by your vet within 72 hours. If there is a problem with the pup, or even if you
find that you do not like the dog or for some reason cannot keep it, return it. I will refund your money
if you return the pup in good condition with its papers. I care about the pups, so there is no time limit.

______ No matter how old your dog is, if you need to find it a new home, please contact me so I can help you.
As the breeder of these dogs, I share responsibility for them throughout their lifetime.

______The puppy has been eating Eukanuba  Puppy Food free choice.  Some of this same food will be sent
home with the puppy. When you want to change the pup to a different food, do so very gradually. Mix
a small amount of the new food with the old and slowly increase the amount of new food as you
decrease the amount of old food in the mixture over several days. This will help prevent digestive
upsets. The pup should be fed 3-4 times a day. Establishing a regular feeding schedule will help in
Housetraining.

______ The pup has been wormed at least twice.

As I said before, these puppies are raised with care and each one is special to me. I want you to be happy with your
puppy. If your puppy develops any problems that could have a genetic basis, let me know so I can consider that in
